Reseller Program

 

The JNS Global Reseller Program

 

JNS Global offers a comprehensive reseller program for our qualified resellers.

Advantages of the JNS Reseller Program.

 

  1. Wide Range of Suppliers. We offer all the professional brands which are critical to the success of a professional and DIY customer base. Each supplier we sell offers the entire product line not a small subset. Any product available from our manufacturers is available to our resellers.

 

  1. Log In for Easy online ordering. We provide a special log in from our site and reseller pricing as shown. You can either just send in your order over the internet or put it on your order form and send it in to us. We will track your orders by your order number or ours whichever you prefer.

 

  1. All orders are shipped directly from the manufacturer’s factory either directly to your location or to your customer’s location. There is no fear of turning accounts over to competitors. All our orders are cataloged to prevent your customers or manufacturers from trying to go direct. Once you are logged in you can generate the order on the spot and let it go. You can also email orders to us from your system. The choice is yours. We would prefer using our system since the data is already available for the vendors and we do not have to retype it.

 

  1. Freight is the most sensitive part of making money in this business. Having orders from many different manufacturers will usually increase significantly the freight to deliver. Each manufacturer has free freight programs and we will make available to our resellers who can qualify for the programs. Any Free Freight programs we initiate for end users are generally not available to resellers. We will assist our resellers on how to order to minimize freight.

 

  1. Promotions  on our websites Unless specifically targeted or approved for resellers are not available to resellers.

 

  1. Min. Order Quantities. We do not require case quantities on any products except in those cases where the manufacturer will not ship in less then case quantities.

 

  1. Min. Order Amount. Resellers are requested to make orders of at least $250 per order. This is to maximize freight as well as pay for the handling and administrating of the orders. We are considering waving this for now until we can see what happens. Many small orders just overwhelms both our system and the suppliers.


 

  1. Credit and Terms: For those resellers who quality and desire credit we will consider it. An application for approval is available on our website . The amount of credit will also be considered as part of the application. Normally all approved credit requires full payment in 30 days. Late payments accrue at 2% per month. Customers who have approved credit may have the credit limits lowered or revoked depending on payment history. A customer can still be a reseller with or without credit.
  2. Product feeds and Web Site Assistance Customers who need images, descriptions and general product feed info can get that by requesting it from us by product. We will do our best to accommodate your needs. We can also provide PDF’s on specific products and catalogs if you need them. We prefer excel as the standard but we can accommodate others if you can give us the specification.

 

  1. The % reseller discount is calculated on the gross margin available to us as distributors. Some products have narrow margins others are larger. The margin is usually found by looking at the manufacturers suggest list (MSRP) and comparing our prices with other retailers. A discount schedule based on our available margin will be used in the calculations. Our goal is to share in the growth of this and any additional discounts we can get by increasing our volume will be shared with our resellers in reduced markups.

 

  1. MSRP (Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price) is the recommended 1st tier pricing. Most suppliers calculate MSRP based on cost. We will provide Pricing guidelines and list MSRP for your reference. Because you are a 2nd tier distributor you will not have the margin for deep discounting unless opportunities allow us special pricing. We try and give both the list and our single unit contractor price. Hopefully with direct customer contact you may be able to get a little more for the products with your service and support.

 

  1. Large order opportunities where we can negotiate special pricing with the manufacturer will always be considered and we will assist in those discussions. Large deals where we are competing with existing distributors who are assigned to those customers may prove difficult to outbid and we will discuss with the manufacturer on a case by case basis. In the end the customer should be free to chose who he wants to do business with, not the distributor.

 

  1. Web site. Those resellers who want to also participate in our affiliate program are free to do so. Affiliates provide links from their sites to our web sites. Those links are tracked to the originators. All approved affiliates can receive 10% commissions on all products sold under the affiliate program. Affiliate terms and conditions are handled separately from the reseller program.

 

  1. Yearly Expectations It is our desire to qualify resellers with an expectation for mutual success. We are looking for around $2,000 a year from our resellers. I cannot put a hard and firm value on this since this program is only just starting. We will work with you to obtain these levels. We have no expectations to start with but our goal is to find ways of making this program successful for both of us. Giving reseller pricing without some expectation of incremental business is really foolish for both of us.
